The Incubator Program at Spado Hub is tailored for early-stage startups that have moved beyond the idea phase and are ready to develop and launch their products or services. This program provides a comprehensive support system to help startups navigate the challenges of early business development.

Application Requirements

Participation in the Incubation program is free and open to early-stage startups in Ghana focusing on e-commerce products/services that address real-life problems. Eligible applicants must be registered, provide legal documents, and meet the following criteria:

  • Residency: Must reside in Ghana.
  • Age of Founders: Founders should be aged 18 to 35.
  • Team Size: Minimum team size of two.
  • Business Documentation: Must have documentation of the idea on a Business Model Canvas (BMC) or a business plan.
  • Market Presence: Presence of a product or service in the market, without the necessity of a business license.
  • Technical Feasibility: Identification, selection, and adoption of appropriate technology showcasing technical feasibility.
  • Growth Potential: Demonstration of the business’s growth potential with a revenue stream for scalability and sustainability.
  • Job Creation Commitment: Commitment to creating job opportunities, aiming for at least 18 jobs annually, possibly through third-party marketplaces.
 

The program encourages female entrepreneurs, women-led businesses, and individuals facing challenges such as disabilities, internal displacement, and refugees to participate. Eligibility considerations are not exhaustive and account for factors relevant to the applicant.
